I am an experienced public speaker and moderator. I have hosted live Q&As with talent including John Akomfrah, Richard Ayoade, Gina Prince Bythewood, Adam Curtis, Jeanie Finlay, Sadie Frost, Jonathan Glazer, Stephen Graham, Joanna Hogg, Armando Iannucci, Asif Kapadia, Viggo Mortensen, Samantha Morton, Dev Patel, Kelly Reichardt, Alice Rohrwacher, Isabel Sandoval and Ben Whishaw for clients including BAFTA, Barbican Centre, BFI, Canon, Dazed, The Guardian, the ICA, Lammas Park, Mack Books, Miu Miu, Mubi, the National Portrait Gallery, Nesta, Picturehouse Cinemas and Tate.

I’ve delivered lectures including the Philip French Memorial Lecture on film criticism as part of Cinema Rediscovered in Bristol in 2019 and the keynote speech, about exploitative labour practices in cinema exhibition, at This Way Up in Hull in 2017.

I’ve also led workshops on criticism in London, Edinburgh and Melbourne.

I co-programmed feminist film festival The Bechdel Test Fest from 2015-2018 with founder Corrina Antrobus. In 2017, we won a Women and Hollywood trailblazer award for our work.
